PediaSure is suitable for children aged 1-10 years:

• whose patterns of growth are below those of their age group;
• whose caloric and nutrient requirements are increased due to a medical condition;
• who are undernourished or have decreased food intake due to illness or diminished appetite.

To prepare one 225 mL serving: pour 190 mL of room temperature or cold water into a cup and gradually mix in 5 levelled scoops (approx. 48.6 g) of PediaSure powder.

Recommended intake

• 1-8 years: up to 2 servings per day*
• 9-10 years: up to 3 servings per day*

*One serving = approximately 48.6 g powder in 190 mL water to yield 225 mL.

PediaSure can be used as a nutritional supplement with or between meals, or as a sole source of nutrition. PediaSure is also suitable for use as a tube feed (vanilla flavour is recommended); follow directions from your physician or dietitian. Ask your healthcare professional for guidance regarding your child's specific nutrition needs.

Storage

Opened can should be covered and stored in a cool, dry place, but NOT refrigerated. Store unopened can at room temperature. Once opened, use contents within 3 weeks. Once mixed with water, PediaSure should be used promptly or covered, refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Use-by date on bottom of can.

Food for special medical purposes. Use under medical supervision. Not for children with galactosaemia. Not for parenteral use. Should not be used in children under 1 year of age.

Warning: Never heat PediaSure in a microwave oven. Serious burns can result. Mixing PediaSure with water above 35°C (95°F) may compromise the benefits of the probiotic.
